Endless Legend 2 Launches in Early Access with Game Preview on Xbox Game Pass
Endless Legend 2 was released globally in Early Access mode for Windows PC only on Sept. 22, 2025.
The game preview of the 4X strategy became available via the Xbox app for members of Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass on launch day.
The upcoming sequel to 2014’s Endless Legend, developed by Amplitude Studios and published by Hooded Horse, is set in an oceanic world named Saiadha, affected by a natural phenomenon called Tidefalls, in which ocean levels recede, opening up new areas for players to explore.
Unlike its predecessor, Endless Legend 2 features a combat system that requires more involvement from the player because of the need to issue commands to units and position them manually.
The title features nine victory conditions: score victory, military domination victory, and seven types of narrative victories.
In Early Access, the game features four factions, including The Last Lords, Kin of Sheredyn, the Aspects, and the Necrophages, while the full title will feature a roster of six factions.
