Valve launches fourth annual Halloween-themed sale: Steam Scream IV
Valve launched the fourth annual Halloween-themed sale, Steam Scream IV, on Oct. 27, 2025.
The event, focused on discounting scary and horror titles and adjacent-themed games, will last until Nov. 3, 2025.
Besides that, during Steam Scream IV, users can try out demo versions of various projects with a corresponding atmosphere.
Among discounted offers, players can find Halls of Torment, Cronos: The New Dawn, DayZ, Grim Dawn, Dying Light 2 Stay Human: Reloaded Edition, Deadzone: Rogue, Dead Island 2, Into the Dead: Our Darkest Days, World War Z, The Forever Winter, Left 4 Dead, Metro Exodus, Sons of the Forest, Dead by Daylight, Escape the Backrooms, Phasmophobia, Witchfire, Hunt: Showdown 1896, Cult of the Lamb, and Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader.
In addition to discounts, Valve has introduced Halloween-themed profile decorations, including two backgrounds, four animated avatars, and nine stickers, all available for purchase with Steam points.
On October 12, 2025, Steam reached its all-time peak of 41,666,348 concurrent users, setting a new record for Valve’s platform.
