Destiny: Rising Festival of the Lost debuts with customizable dance emotes

Destiny: Rising launched its Halloween celebrations with the debut of Festivals of the Lost, a limited-time event featuring the “Stellar Dance” emote. This emote allows players to customize their own dance, and is available from Oct. 24 to Nov. 7. By uploading a video of dance moves to the Stellar Dance feature, the game will use motion capture to turn them into an emote for the characters to use on the Fireteam screen.

The Lightbearers’ Stellar Dance emotes can only be played on the Fireteam screen. To create an emote, the player must upload a video under the length of 30 seconds and smaller than 50MB. NetEase recommends a full-body view of a single person, uploaded in high quality with clear visuals. The following formats are accepted: mp4, mkv, mov, and avi. Upon upload, the video is reviewed by the system, then the emote is created and downloaded thereafter. The entire process takes a couple of minutes.

As for the remainder of the Destiny: Rising Festival of the Lost events, various activities are scheduled to debut. Festival Activness starts on Oct. 30, and lasts until Nov. 13. A limited sign-in event rewards players for logging in until Nov 6. The Festival of the Lost Bundle expires on Nov. 6 as well.
