Destiny: Rising update adds Festival of the Lost Commemoration
Destiny: Rising received a patch update on Oct 30, debuting the Festivals of the Lost Commemoration limited-time Haunted Singularity. The event lasts until Nov. 13, and has players collect candy. Clearing the stages offers a chance to enter three different reward rooms. In addition, a new character Maru was teased in a social media post, alongside the introduction of the latest season’s pact.
The patch update also added minor character adjustments, namely Improved Estela’s left-handed casting animations and improved the sound effects of Rossi-11’s Signature Abilities.

I. New Event
1. “Festival of the Lost Commemoration Starts—New Activity Available!
- Duration: After the maintenance on 10/30–11/13 at 04:00:00
- New Activity:
- In the limited-time Haunted Singularity activity, defeat combatants using specific means to collect candy and enhance yourself and take with you!
- As you clear stages, you’ll have a chance to enter three different reward rooms: the normal room that awards you candy, the luxurious room with its rain of candy, and the trap room in which you’ll lose candy upon being attacked.
- Event Intro:
- Clear Haunted Singularity and complete event challenges to earn Eerie Amber.
- Collect enough Eerie Amber to earn rewards!
- Rewards:
- Candy can be used to craft Candy Buckets.
- Open your Candy Buckets to claim Season of Daybreak Engrams and Bright Dust.
- Complete challenges to earn Möbius Clusters and the spooky Legendary helmet, “Jack-o’-Lantern Mask”!
2. Version Preview Available
- Duration: After the maintenance on 10/30–11/20 at 04:00:00
- Event Intro:
- Season 2, “Season of the Moor,” is on the horizon!
- Head to the event page for a preview of the new content, including new activities, a new character, a new seasonal pact, and new seasonal ornaments.

- Log in after the season update on 11/06 to claim Lumia Leaves.

III. Optimizations & Adjustments
1. Combat & Balancing Adjustments
- [Characters] Improved Estela’s left-handed casting animations. Now, the left-handed casting animation and special effect for her Signature Abilities will also be played while aiming down sights.

- [Weapons] Added a screen animation that plays when switching to an Exotic weapon’s enhanced mode.
- [Controls] Custom layouts now support independent buttons for sliding.

Destiny: Rising launched its Halloween celebrations with the debut of Festivals of the Lost, a limited-time event featuring the “Stellar Dance” emote. This emote allows players to customize their own dance, and is available from Oct. 24 to Nov. 7. By uploading a video of dance moves to the Stellar Dance feature, the game will use motion capture to turn them into an emote for the characters to use on the Fireteam screen.
As for the remainder of the Destiny: Rising Festival of the Lost events, various activities are scheduled to debut. Festival Activness starts on Oct. 30, and lasts until Nov. 13. A limited sign-in event rewards players for logging in until Nov 6. The Festival of the Lost Bundle expires on Nov. 6 as well.
