The street basketball title The Run: Got Next reveals its rebranding into NBA The Run with a teaser trailer, which was released on Oct 29, 2025.
Developed and published by Play By Play Studios, the game rebranded due to the collaboration with the National Basketball Association.
Slated for release in 2026, the fast-paced, online 3v3 street basketball game is coming for Windows PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
Inspired by street-based basketball series like NBA Jam and NBA Street, NBA The Run will allow players to take NBA stars to iconic streetball courts around the world.
NBA The Run will feature Knockout Tournaments, bracket-style events that players can run solo (controlling a full team) or in squads (one player per teammate). Rounds in such tournaments will last from 2 to 5 minutes, each featuring Randomized Rules, from Dunkfest to Speed Round.
