Legend of Mir franchise creators launch new MMORPG, Legend of Ymir

South Korean Web3 MMORPG Legend of Ymir, created by Wemade, the company behind the Legend of Mir series, released globally on Oct. 28, 2025.

The title launched for Windows PC via the game’s official website and for Android and iOS smartphones via Google Play Store and Apple App Store, respectively.

Surpassing 1 million pre-registrations a month before release, Legend of Ymir launches on its release day the Ymir Cup Global Tournament, where the leading servers from Server Battles will advance to the global tournament held in Hong Kong, with the winning server receiving Wemix (the Web3 arm of Wemade) rewards and a title.

Besides that, the game is about to roll out several launch events in which players will be able to receive rewards of up to 1 BTC (Bitcoin).

Styled as a dark reimagining of Norse mythology and set during the events leading up to Ragnarok, the game is a third-person action RPG where players control the hero of a chosen class (Völva, Warlord, Skald, Orb and Berserker) and race (Aesirs, Vanirs, Jotunns, Humans, Alves, and Dwarves).

Legend of Ymir integrates with the Wemix ecosystem via an in-game rewards token called G-Wemix, which is pegged 1:1 to Wemix’s native coin of the same name, Wemix.
